Honoring the best of UC Irvine

This year’s 2016 Lauds & Laurels will revel in the glamour of Hollywood, tipping our hat to vANTity Fair with alumnus and well known actor, Bob Gunton as our host. The theme celebrates all 18 honorees in a fitting nod with glamorous Vanity Fair post-Oscar party style. The soiree will be held at the exciting, new state of the art [AV] Irvine venue in the Irvine Spectrum area.

Since 1971, the UCI Alumni Association and its board of directors has presented Lauds & Laurels, the association's highest honor, at a formal ceremony each spring. Lauds & Laurels is the university's oldest awards ceremony, a tradition that has recognized more than 750 members of the UCI community for their service to the university, the community or their profession.
