UROP sponsors the UCI Undergraduate Research Symposium, an annual event held in May that allows hundreds of undergraduates the opportunity to present the results of their research or creative activities in a professional setting.

All UCI undergraduate students who have conducted research are invited to submit an application and abstract during the Call for Abstracts, which is typically in the Winter Quarter of every year. UROP and SURP fellows are required to present; however, the Symposium is open to all students. The Symposium also provides the opportunity for students to attend and learn about the work of their fellow students, and to volunteer to assist at the event. Members of the larger UCI community are also invited to attend. Click here to view participants by School.

The 2017 Symposium will take place on Saturday, May 20 in the UCI Student Center.
