The UCI Libraries announce the opening of a new exhibit, Costuming the Leading Ladies of Shakespeare: From Stratford to Orange County, on Thursday, April 5th at 5:30PM in Langson Library, UCI. Professor Marcy Froehlich, UCI Claire Trevor School of the Arts - Drama, is the opening night guest speaker.

Costuming the Leading Ladies of Shakespeare reflects the evolution of stage costuming for women of Shakespearian plays, from the late16th century to early 21st century, and examines costuming choices for their roles through rare finds and materials found in UCI's Special Collections & Archives and Drama Department.

The program will be followed by a reception and exhibit viewing in Langson Library, UCI. The event is free and open to the public. Space is limited; reservations are first come, first served.
