Holcomb Rock Climbing

Holcomb Valley Pinnacles is a fantastic sport climbing crag. It is located at an elevation 7400 ft so it will be much cooler than any other climbing in southern California. It has many routes of varying difficulty making it an ideal location for the beginner as well as the experienced sport climber. Let's hit the rocks! LA Urban Adventure

We will hike to the iconic Hollywood sign in the beautiful Hollywood hills, explore the walk of fame, visit Griffith Park Observatory for a star party and sample some unique LA eateries. Transportation is provided so bring your walking shoes and your spirit of adventure for an interesting day of outdoorsy LA fun. Pre-Trip meeting on Th 8/22. 

                          

Anteater Adventure for Incoming Students

The UCI Incoming Anteater Adventure will be the first step toward a successful collegiate experience. It will serve as a starting point for community building, networking and campus engagement. We will camp near a So-Cal Beach, padde in the Newport Back Bay, rock climb Ortega Falls and all the while learn more about ourselves and our fellow incoming anteaters. The college transition is an important period that will help you set up for success the rest of your life
