'Zot' is the Anteater victory cheer! It's also the sound that Peter the Anteater makes when he snaps out his tongue to catch his food.

2020 Primary Election: Vote on Campus!

Displaying until March 4, 2020

On February 3rd the Orange County Registrar of Voters began mailing every registered voter in the county a mail-in ballot. With this new election model each voter can choose how, when, and where to cast their ballot. A voter can return their ballot by returning it via the postage-paid envelope; drop it off at any one of many vote centers in the county; or deposit it in a publically accessible drop box. Please visit the OC Registrar’s Vote Centers and Drop Box information page for hours and locations.

Beginning this election traditional polling places will be replaced by vote centers and OC voters can visit any one of them throughout the county to cast their ballot. Vote centers operate similar to polling places, but provide additional modern features to make voting easy and convenient. A voter may:

  • Vote in-person
  • Drop off their ballot
  • Get a replacement ballot
  • Vote using an accessible voting machine
  • Get help and voting material in multiple languages
  • Register to vote or update voter registration

UCI will have two open 4-day vote centers:

  1. Mesa Court Housing Multi-Purpose Room (4053 Mesa Rd, Irvine, CA)
  2. University Hills Community Center (1083 California Ave, Irvine, CA)

Hours of operations for both locations are as follow:

  1. Saturday, February 29 – Monday, March 2: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

ELECTION DAY, Tuesday, March 3: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM

If you have not yet registered to vote, you have until February 18th to do so online. If you are unsure, you can check your registration status here. Please visit the OC Registrar of Voters information page for additional information.
