April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month - Virtual Events

UCI CARE is pleased to be able to offer its annual Take Back the Night (TBTN) and Clothesline Project display in a virtual environment in recognition of April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. TBTN is a student-led event held to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with individuals who have been impacted by sexual and interpersonal violence.

This year's event will feature the Clothesline Project, keynote addresses, a Virtual Resource and Education Fair, a candlelight mark and a speak out - all in virtual environments. Below you will find the timeline of the events and links for participation which will also be made available on CARE's social media platforms and website when they go live (care.uci.edu and social media accounts @ucicare). The event will also feature an opportunity drawing where participants will have the chance to win prizes including sports memorabilia and gift cards for services such as Grubhub and Doordash. 

Beginning April 13th at 9AM – The Clothesline Project Goes and Virtual Resource Fair

April 15th at 7:45PM – Virtual March 

Participate in the virtual march starting at 7:45PM by posting a picture of a candle and utilizing #UCITBTN2020 and #iCultivateCARE on facebook, snapchat, and twitter.
