What does 'Zot' even mean?

'Zot' is the Anteater victory cheer! It's also the sound that Peter the Anteater makes when he snaps out his tongue to catch his food.

Cross-Cultural Center | Martin Luther King Jr. Symposium
Monday, January 18 through Friday, January 22, 2021

The Cross-Cultural Center is honored to present this year's Martin Luther King Jr. Symposium virtually and we invite the campus community to participate. As we process and heal from witnessing recent disturbing and dangerous events in Washington, D.C., it is critical to be in community. During the symposium, we invite you to reflect on Dr. King's legacy of activism and think about the ways in which you can continue to work towards achieving racial justice and dismantling anti-Blackness.

During the week of January 18, there will be virtual workshops, a pre-recorded lecture by artist and activist Bree Newsome Bass, and interactive community boards. Several recordings will be made available all week on our website. You can find more details about the symposium and access the recordings at ccc.uci.edu/mlk.
