The UCI community celebrates great mentoring and students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to honor recipients of mentoring awards at the Mentoring for Achievement and Excellence program.

WHAT:             Mentoring for Achievement and Excellence

WHEN:            4 p.m.-5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1

The program is hosted by the Office of Inclusive Excellence and the Graduate Division. The event includes special presentations to recipients of the following honors:

• Tom Angell Fellowships, honoring graduate student, postdoctoral scholar and faculty recipients for supporting graduate students
• Frances M. Leslie DECADE Mentor Excellence Award, honoring a faculty member whose service as a DECADE Mentor supports diversity, equity, and inclusion for graduate students and graduate education
• Carol Connor Equity Advisor Impact Award, recognizing a faculty member for service as an equity advisor to pioneer and improve inclusive excellence in the academic units
