This Fall UCI students, staff, and affiliates will get the chance to participate in the Outdoor Nation Campus Challenge. The Challenge has been developed, with the help of the National Park Service, to celebrate and encourage outdoor activities nationwide. Individuals and school teams will log their outdoor activities using the Outdoor Nation App or website to win prizes and earn the coveted title of 'National Outdoor Champion'. The winning campus will receive an outdoor equipment gear bank and national recognition. One person will also be named 'Outsider of the Year' and receive a head-to-toe outdoor gear outfitting, plus one team member from each participating school will be named 'most outdoorsy individual' and win a complete outdoor gear set.
