Job Summary: Sustainabilty Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager with dining related sustainability initiatives.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Manager and Department support
  • Reports to senior staff and marketing manager
  • Plan and execute educational sustainability events
  • Coordinate monthly sustatinability related program meetings
  • Coordinate bi-monthly promotions and newsletter
  • Maintain files at the location
  • Request promotional materials and maintain inventory
  • Prepare communication materials for the hourly staff including, but not limited to, bulletin boards, schedules, memos, etc.
  • Postings - update and keep current
  • Maintain a professional image
  • Maintain compliance with California Wage & Hour
  • Assist with marketing initiatives as assigned

Additional Job Functions:

  • Complete special projects as needed
  • Complete any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team

 

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, organization skills, and attention to detail

Desired Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 - 3 years work experience in food service
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
