As part of the Carbon Neutrality Initiative and our efforts to wipe out UC’s carbon footprint by 2025, all ten campuses are participating in the Cool Campus Challenge. This friendly 4-week challenge is designed to educate and motivate the university community to take simple energy-saving, waste-reducing, and sustainability-focused actions to lower their carbon footprint.

Pledge. Score. Win.

• Pledge online from April 1-26 at CoolCampusChallenge.org to take sustainability actions and score points.
• Participate as individuals or as teams (departments, offices, clubs, classes, residential halls, etc.). One team per person. 
• Win awards and prizes. The top campuses, teams and individuals are eligible to win several awards and prizes.

In 2015, UCI won the first Cool Campus Challenge, claiming the title as "Coolest UC Campus." Let's claim victory again, Anteaters!
