Sustainable Foods Fair

Join over 25 student organizations, clubs, departments and sustainable vendors for the 2019 Earth Week Sustainable Foods Fair! 

Visit Gateway Plaza on Tuesday, April 23rd to learn more about UCI's sustainable dining program, clubs, and departments. The first 500 attendees will receive a FREE reusable Starbucks cup! You can also enter our raffle to win a bungee chair, reusable utensils, straws, stainless steel tumbler and more!

  • Test out the Global Sustainability Resource Center's blender bike and make your own smoothie using pedal power
  • Try edible plants found in the San Joaquin Marsh Reserve
  • Taste treats and certified sustainable snacks: coffees from Java City ecoGrounds, drinks from Kevita, Yachack yerba mate, Clif Bars, and more
  • Learn about food insecurity and what resources the FRESH Basic Needs Hub has for UCI students
  • Check out Dining's vertical garden and learn how we're growing food right here on campus. You'll meet our "farmers" and see how the garden system grows hyper-local, organic, and delicious squash, tomatoes, leafy greens, etc.
