Building Community reception and TED Talks - May 12

UCI students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to a public reception at 3:30 p.m. and engaging, TED-style talks at 4 p.m. on May 12. This in-person event will be held in the UCI Student Center Pacific Ballroom D.

Presenters were funded by the Office of Inclusive Excellence’s Confronting Extremism Program. This initiative on Building Community aims to put lessons learned from the current pandemic into action to confront extreme ideologies while strengthening community and social justice ties.   Presentations will cover a range of topics from a broad group of campus partners, including: Center for Jewish Studies, Division of Student Affairs, and the Schools of Education, Law, Medicine, Social Ecology and the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences.
